Your employer has a strategy for your role. Do you have one for your career?
AI is taking over more of the hands-on work every quarter, and your employer is already planning for that on its own behalf. Nobody is doing the same planning on yours. Take the free 3-minute assessment and get your Human Premium score: how much of your work is out of AI's reach, and how much of it the people who decide your pay can actually see.
12 questions, about 3 minutes. Your score shows before we ask for anything.
The problem
Decisions about your career are already being made. Mostly by people planning for something else.
Very senior, very capable engineers at large tech companies are being told to pack up their things before an all-hands, and some go home not knowing whether they have a job on Tuesday. How good they were at the job is not what decided it.
Companies can now grow revenue without hiring. AI agents are doing more of the cognitive labor every quarter, and that work fills most senior resumes. So the question is what leverage you have: why you'd be kept, and paid, as a strategic business asset. Ignoring that question is the real risk.
What still carries business value is the work nobody wrote down as a task: the call you made before the data agreed, or the weeks you spent getting teams who don't report to you to commit to one plan. That work is rarely paid for, because the people who set pay rarely see it, and for any employer the rational move is to keep a strong performer exactly where they are.
So people take another course and learn another tool, which makes them better at the exact work AI is taking over. Meanwhile most senior engineers, tech leaders and executives are underselling themselves, usually by more than they'd guess. They're offering themselves at a discount, and the discount compounds, because every raise and every offer is built on the current number.
The people deciding what happens to your job answer to shareholders, and they're doing that well. Nobody is against you. Planning your career just isn't anyone's job, unless you make it yours.

What's in your career strategy report
15 pages about you, and nobody else
Your 15-page career strategy report is built from your resume and your own answers. Every page points to something of yours: a line from your resume, a result you described, the goal you wrote down. Read it on the web, where it's interactive: set your own numbers, like the inflation and raises you expect and your own estimate of the discount, and the scenarios recalculate. Or download the PDF.
- What is actually happening to your kind of job. Which parts of your work AI reaches first, and which of your current plans feel safe but won't protect you.
- Your Human Premium score, decoded against your record. The strengths your resume already proves, and the ones your next role will demand that it doesn't show yet.
- Your week, task by task. What AI agents are likely to take over in the next 1–2 years, and which of your tasks quietly cap your career if you stay where you are.
- Your best recent result, rewritten in dollars and risk. The language the people who set your pay use when they decide who gets more.
- What the discount costs you every month. Worked out from today's pay and shown as scenarios, clearly labeled. Not a forecast. In Dr. Roberts's client work, the discount has often run 30% to 50%, sometimes higher. Most people guess lower, and even the lower number rarely gets claimed.
- Working back from the role you want. What has to be true for you to get there, and what you can stop spending the next two years on.
- Your next 90 days. Three moves, each with a first step you can take this week and a sign at day 30, 60 and 90 that it's working.
- Where a strategist would push. Two blind spots, and an honest test of the barrier you believe is stopping you.
Written about you, line by line.
Every paragraph is checked against your resume and answers, and anything that would fit someone else in your role is rewritten before you see it. You won't find market salary tables, guesses about your employer or promised outcomes.
The part a report can't do.
The pay conversation itself, the case for the specific people who decide, and which roles to go after all depend on judgment about the people involved. Your report shows you exactly where each one matters. Dr. Roberts builds them with you.

Who it's for
Built for senior engineers, tech leaders and executives
It's for you if you are:
- A senior, staff or principal engineer
- A manager, senior manager or director
- A VP or executive
You'll get the most from it if your best work never makes it into your review, or you have a bigger role in mind and no clear route to it.
It isn't built for entry-level job hunting or resume keyword tuning. Plenty of tools already do that.
Nothing here requires changing jobs. Many of the strongest moves happen where you already work.
About Dr. Roberts
The method behind it
Kirthi Roberts, PEng (licensed in Engineering Physics), Master's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, PhD (UBC), is a career architect and strategist for senior engineers, tech leaders and executives.
In more than 12 years he has worked with 500+ professionals on the problem this product starts on: the distance between what they deliver and what gets seen and paid for. Across that work, individual compensation has moved by $20K to over $200K a year. Clients have landed roles at Amazon and Meta.
His method starts from where you want to be and works backward through everything that must be true to get there. The aim is pay and scope that match the worth you've already demonstrated. Sometimes that's the next step up where you are. Often the bigger gain is a sideways or cross-company move that nobody in your current chain would suggest.
AI Career Strategist applies that method to your facts in minutes. The parts that need his judgment stay with him.
Results differ by person and situation. Past client results describe his work, not a forecast for yours.

Where the report stops and the live work starts
When the goal is clear and the timeline matters, the parts the report can't do get built live: the pay conversation, the case for the specific people who decide, which roles to pursue, and how to sequence each move around your organization's politics. Programs run 3, 4 or 6 months. If you've bought a career strategy report in the last 30 days, the full $197 is credited toward your program.
Come with the version of the goal you haven't said out loud and the timeline you actually want, not the safe one. He'll tell you straight whether it's realistic and what it would take.

Frequently asked questions
Is this just ChatGPT with a nicer page?
No. The free assessment uses no AI at all: fixed questions, fixed scoring, every point explained. Your career strategy report is written by AI models working inside Dr. Roberts's method, from your own resume and answers. A separate review then checks every report for generic advice and for any claim your answers don't support. Reports that fail get rewritten, and if one still falls short, a person reviews it before you see it.
What happens to my resume and answers?
They're used to write your report and nothing else, unless you opt in to keep them for future features. We never sell your data, we don't use it to train AI models, and you can have it deleted at any time.
What does the Human Premium score measure?
How you actually work: how your week splits, how you handle ambiguous decisions, how visible your results are to the people who set your pay, how clear your direction is, and how much pull you have outside your company. Your job title doesn't change your score. Two people with the same title can score very differently, which is the point.
I'm a director or VP. Is this for me?
Often more so. The alignment work and the people a leader develops rarely show up as deliverables, which makes them easy to leave out when pay is set. Your report reads your level and the role you're aiming for.
Will it tell me to quit my job?
No. Nothing here requires changing jobs. If you need to stay with your current employer, your report treats that as fixed and builds the strategy around it.
Does the report promise a raise or a promotion?
No, and be wary of anything that does. You get a strategy built on your own facts and a 90-day plan to start on. What happens next depends on what you do with it and on factors nobody controls.
I'm not in the US. Does it work for me?
Yes. It's built for people working in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and your report works from your own pay, in your own currency.
Can I work with Dr. Roberts directly?
Yes. His programs run 3, 4 or 6 months, and your report shows whether that's the right next step for you. Enroll within 30 days of buying your report and the full $197 is credited toward your program.
Not legal, immigration, tax or medical advice. Where those come up, your report says so and points you to a qualified professional.
